In short: even if your weight doesn’t shift exactly as you want it to, improving your cardio health can significantly reduce the risks of heart disease and improve your life expectancy. That’s good news, especially if you’ve struggled with weight loss goals in the past.

The Men’s Health article mentions that the focus on weight loss as an “arbitrary goal” may not be the most effective approach for overall health.
